German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE)

homepage_logo_die

The German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) is one of the leading research institutes focusing on issues of global development and cooperation, including poverty and inequality, tradeoffs and synergies between inclusive and green public policies, governance support to fragile and post-conflict states, and global economic governance. DIE’s policy-applied research programs aim at producing knowledge relevant to policymakers as much as to academics interested in developing theoretical frameworks for a better understanding of the opportunities, constraints and challenges of public policymaking in the above mentioned areas in a globalized world. Besides being engaged in research and policy advice, DIE runs a post-graduate training program with a focus on global governance and another one focusing on development policy and cooperation.
